The Vento Controller is a novel approach to pulsejet fabric filter cleaning system regulation. A conventional pulse sequencer or controller is designed to control the on-time and the off-time as well as the firing order of the pulsing solenoid valves. The main problem faced by the end user is that there is no ability to actively control the air pressure in the pulse valve headers, resulting in inefficient cleaning and shortened bag life. The main advantage of the Vento is its high cleaning efficiency and low compressed air consumption.

The Vento controller, on the other hand, implements an advanced control algorithm that imparts intelligent control to the pulse sequencer. The Vento is linked to an automatic pressure control valve that controls the cleaning system compressed air supply pressure, reducing it to the minimum optimum level for efficient cleaning, thus preserving the integrity of the filtration material, greatly extending its useable life span.

The Vento control system system includes a microprocessor controller utilizing our proprietary low pressure pulsing control algorithm that automatically controls pulse pressure, pulse length and pulse timing.

The Vento filter regeneration system was developed in our research facility and is coupled to the appropriate combination of components, optimized for the size and design geometries of the entire cleaning system (valve size, nozzle diameter, distance between blow pipes and bags, venturi design etc.). This customized configuration provides predictable and high-efficiency cleaning performance designed to lower the total cost of ownership of a pulse jet fabric filter.
