In many boiler applications, it is still acceptable to install electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) for the collection of flyash.
ESPs tend to be more cost effective particulate control devices if the ash collected is low in resistivity, and if the resistivity remains constant throughout the operational parameters of a given installation.
BoldEco Environment is capable of supplying the entire gas cleaning system for small boiler applications, including multicyclones, ESP and fan.
Our technology allows us to offer two approaches to electrode cleaning, a European design implementing tumbling rappers and rigid frame discharge electrodes, as well as an American disign, implementing MIGI rappers and either weighted wire or rigid dischage electrodes.
Although Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs) tend to be more cost effective as particulate control devices if the ash collected is low in resistivity at all operational parameters, due to its ability to efficiently capture fine particulate at all gas flow rates and under varying process conditions regardless of flyash resistivity, the state of the art for collection of flyash is a pulse jet fabric filter.
BoldEco Environment is capable of supplying the entire gas cleaning system for small boiler applications, including multicyclones, ESP and fan. For larger applications, BoldEco has supplied smart parts and engineering packages to be executed locally. This is a very cost-effective solution, especially in the case of an ESP to fabric filter (baghouse) conversion since much of the existing equipment is re-utilized in the final installation.
Our fabric filter technology allows us to install bags in excess of 24 feet (8 meters) in length utilizing proprietary pulse valves and low to medium pulsing pressure. With the addition of a Vento controller, a conventional high-pressure pulse valve can be utilized, thus providing a hybrid system that can effectively clean any size and loading of flyash with high pressure, while at the same time providing the capability of pulsing at low to medium pressure when conditions allow.
